Please help me "filter" my e-mail by sending your e-mail to the requested e-mail addresses (below) depending on what you are writing to me about. Please put a meaningful statement in the "Subject" field. I do not read e-mail with subject headings like "Hi!" because there is so much "junk mail" with general subject headings.
Send me e-mail If you are suicidal, I can not help you because you are not a client of mine. It would be unprofessional of me to attempt to help you under these conditions, so please do not write me. Please find a local mental health professional to help you deal with your feelings. Also, check out this excellent resource: All About Suicide - Mental Health Net. I can no longer answer all the e-mail that I'm receiving. If you don't receive a reply from me it is because I believe that you can find the information that you need at this web site or through the Internet search engines; or because you did not have your mail client set up with the correct return address; or because I crashed my e-mail program and lost all my e-mail, again. Suggestions to try before e-mailing me: 1.) Try the search engines. See Search Tools and Reference Material at this web site.2.) Visit the largest local bookstore in your area an ask for assistance in locating your subject matter. 3.) Go to the best university library (or main branch of your local library) in your area and ask the Research Librarian for help in locating your subject matter. In addition to volumes and volumes of books, university libraries usually have most of the major journals, like Social Work: Journal of the National Association of Social Workers. 4.) Visit the NASW (National Association of Social Workers) web sites - Washington, D.C. http://www.socialworkers.org/ or http://www.naswdc.org/
5.) Search Amazon.com Books, Inc. or the other online
bookstores for your subject matter. 6.) The challenge of maintaining this web site requires countless hours. Please honor this request: Do a thorough search before e-mailing me. Heartless as it may sound, this site is not set up to help with homework assignments on any topic (including Chemistry homework) for there is only one of me. If you still can't find what you are looking for or have a comment, concern, or suggestion, e-mail me.
